Tuffcover Wall Products
Displayways Tuffcover wall graphics was originally designed to protect hospital interior walls from scratch damage and wear from daily cleaning.

Displayways Tuffcover range has a solution. Acrovyn by Design® Wall Coverings enable you to protect your walls and dress them at the same time. Graphics and photo quality images are embedded within a tough scratch and impact resistant covering designed specifically to prevent damage. Your feature walls can now stand up to daily wear and tear and can be easily cleaned.
The digital image is printed using the latest UV Curing technology combined with an Acrovyn® medium that was originally designed to protect hospital interior walls from scratch damage and wear from daily cleaning. Under exclusive licence from Construction Specialties, the manufacturers of Acrovyn®, Displayways can produce incredibly durable, high quality, full colour printed wall coverings.
Our Tuffcover range is engineered for lasting resistance to heavy use and regular cleaning. Once you have experienced the high performance scratch resistance of Acrovyn by Design® wallcoverings – nothing else will do. A Tuffcover wall incorporating graphics of your own design is incredibly long lasting and will not wear away.

Tuffcover Resin Flooring
Displayways Tuffcover resin flooring developed in partnership with Sphere 8 is a unique new product. Made from natural biopolymers, delivering the highest standard in resin flooring, the floors are seamless, warm, soft to the touch and healthy to live with.

The ultimate in durability, Tuffcover resin flooring is engineered for lasting resistance to heavy use and high footfall. Once you have experienced a seamless resin floor – nothing else will do. A Tuffcover floor incorporating graphics of your own design is incredibly long lasting and will not wear away.
Digital image is printed using a special media and ink combination developed to work in conjunction with the crystal clear flooring resin. The image is then embedded into the middle of the resin flooring - a little like the filling of a sandwich. This method provides endless creative possibilities for creating bespoke permanent flooring. The only limit is the designer’s imagination.
Tuffcover Graphiclino
Tuffcover Graphiclino provides a simple solution to a major challenge in semi-permanent graphic flooring. Most graphic floors are created by printing a thin sheet printed self-adhesive floor vinyl and then installing this as a floor. However, whilst this is good for short term solutions up to six months the thin layer of vinyl is often not enough to protect the design long term, causing it to become scratched or damaged. As a result, it either needs to be replaced or left looking unsightly.
Normal graphic floors made with printable floor vinyl are cost effective to produce and can make the floor look great—temporarily. Tuffcover Graphiclino printable floor covering is such a unique product designed to last up to 5 years!
Tuffcover Graphiclino makes use of a single, solid layer of impervious PVC. This polyvinyl is extruded from raw vinyl materials into a thick, solid sheet of clear protective flooring. The image is then printed to the underside of the clear protected layer that is encased in the polyvinyl blend. As a result, rather than layers of fillers, you get a single piece of material that features the graphic encased in protective coating.
Since the image is embedded in the wear layer, it is impossible to damage, tear, rip, distort, stain, or break. The material is impervious to normal wear and tear and will last the test of time.
Tuffcover Embed
Tuffcover Embed is the world’s first technology to embed ink inside solid surfaces. Tuffcover embed provides stunning image quality for applications such as display panels, lecterns, signage, table tops and art pieces, for indoor or outdoor use. The Tuffcover surface is scratch resistant, can be cleaned with normal cleaning fluids and will last up to 7 years. The products are available in wood, aluminium, steel and MDF up to 2400mm x 1200mm.
Using dye-based inks, images and artworks are transferred into a specially-coated surface using heat and pressure. The ink is
embedded into the coating on the solid surface. The display panels can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Wilhelm Imaging Research, the world’s leading authority on Print Permanence, carried out extensive testing
on Tuffcover Embed panels. With unprecedented resistance to surface abrasion, high humidity, atmospheric ozone, and contact with water, Tuffcover Embed prints available in sizes up to 8x4 feet can be safely displayed without the need for framing under glass or acrylic, face-mounting, or surface laminating and will last 7 years in normal indoor and outdoor environments.

Tuffcover HPL
Displayways manufacture one of the Worlds most durable graphic solutions and will Warranty the graphics for indoor and outdoor use. In fact, our Tuffcover HPL (High Pressure Laminate) signs and graphics are "Graffiti Proof" and Guaranteed for 10 years against fading and weather deterioration. The graphics solution is applicable for signs and graphics for many city attractions, Heritage sites, national parks, bike paths, trails, and other recreation venues.
Tuffcover HPL combines the most advanced graphic imaging with the proven durability of High Pressure Laminate. Using extreme heat and pressure, the final product is a permanent fusion of image and HPL that can never delaminate, separate, crack or peel. Tuffcover HPL signs and graphics are impervious to moisture, and are extremely resistant to UV rays, scratching, impact, cigarette burns and graffiti.
