Established in 1988, the business was set up as a display consultancy to provide expert advice to clients requiring large format printing and display solutions. Since then the business has grown on a reputation for quality and service. The company quickly introduced production for large format print and finishing supported by installation teams and now boasts some of the latest large format digital print technologies and expert bespoke display solution manufacturing available in the UK.

Displayways SC
Displayways Sign Company Ltd was established to service the specific marketplace of signage both indoor and outdoor and is supported by our sister companies producing graphics and providing visual consultancy. We manufacture all forms of signage from digital print to illuminated fascias and hand built 3D lettering, working with the latest high tech materials and LED to traditionally painted woods and neon.
Our in house design and manufacturing facilities ensure that we can provide everything from project consultancy, specification of materials and methods to fabrication, metalwork, spraying and powder coating, graphic production and installations. Specialist teams are able to advise agencies and clients from start to finish of the projects managing the logistics required to deliver projects outside of the UK.
The business has the expertise to deliver an end to end solution regardless of the project requirements and can procure and manage the delivery of products and services either produced by Displayways or supplied by third parties in the UK or locally in the country of delivery. The aim is to manage all aspects of the projects and seamlessly deliver a museum project, conference, event, exhibition, interior or signage project working in partnership with our clients.
Rob Kelly
CEO and Owner Displayways Group
Directors Rob Kelly and Peter Sheldrick have both spent more than 30 years each in the large format print, display and event industry and are supported by art working, print, finishing and installation experts.
Rob started as designer and photographer but then worked his way through printing, studio and management roles in several businesses latterly as a Director of a large plc before buying Displayways in 2012.
He is a business leader who has grown companies, grown businesses through acquisition, been involved in restructuring of businesses, created outstanding sales and marketing functions, led companies through the creation of strategy and subsequent business planning, and has steered people and organisations through good and bad times in the market.
Peter Sheldrick
COO and Owner Displayways Group
Directors Rob Kelly and Peter Sheldrick have both spent more than 30 years each in the large format print, display and event industry and are supported by art working, print, finishing and installation experts.
Peter started as a printer and studio operative and worked his way through several managerial positions prior to taking a shareholding of Displayways in 2010. Peter and Rob then got to together to purchase Displayways in 2012. He is a business leader with vast commercial experience in managing businesses and large graphic projects.
Nick Bishop
Director and Owner Displayways Visual Communications Ltd
Nick has spent 30 years in Account management, Account Director and Sales Director roles within the large format graphics production arena. Prior to starting Displayways Visual Communication Ltd with Rob Kelly and Peter Sheldrick Nick held the sales Director role at one of the largest graphics production companies in the UK.
Nick was looking to deliver a far more consultative service to customers and decided the way to do this was to grow a business providing a visual consultancy service supported by Production and Project Management services.
Reiss Parkinson
Director and Owner Displayways Sign Company Ltd
Reiss brings with him a wealth of experience in Project management, Sales and business growth management across the architectural signage and construction signage sectors.
Having previously worked for some of the biggest names in the industry, he understands the importance of nurturing and maintaining strong relationships between clients and suppliers to deliver successful projects.
Looking to build on this, and deliver a far more personal and consultative service to customers, Reiss established Displayways Sign Company Ltd to complement the existing Displayways Group offer.
Mark Hurley
Operations Director
Mark has 35 years’ experience in large format print production and project management and has worked on such projects as the 2012 Olympics, the refit of the Imperial War Museum, the management of the entire event programme for National Grid for 20 years and many more besides.
Andy Webber
Production Manager
Andy has 10 years’ experience in the management of projects and logistics within the Large Format Digital Print Production arena. Having worked as an Account Director for many years he is naturally customer focussed which ensures Displayways Production is geared to the customer’s needs.
David Cunningham
Studio Manager
David has extensive knowledge and experience having run and worked in art-working studios for more than 25 years. He is attuned to the specific and differing requirements of the Museum, Event and Retail sectors, and focussed on delivering high quality graphics and customer service through consultancy, creative problem solving, project management and artwork precision.
The Displayways studio prides itself on attention to detail, we work with the designers to ensure files are set up to achieve the design intent and is then art worked correctly for the many types of large format digital print that may be required.
Lee Reynolds
Print Manager
Lee has 20 years of experience in running various production departments for some of the major graphics production companies in the UK. He has vast knowledge in large format and giant format print production as well as running studio, art working, work flow and pre-press operations. Lee has been instrumental in the implementation of processes to manage and maintain the delivery of a best in class print product across the array of machines employed at Displayways.
Martin Barnard
Finishing Manager
Martin is a career finisher having trained from the shop floor and up. He is one of the most important members of our team as we specialise in the bespoke and difficult end of graphics production the requirement for specialist finishing knowledge is high. Through his knowledge we are able to provide advice and consultancy to our clients on best methods of production.
Dominic Barrett
Account Director
Dom has worked running major projects within the display graphics markets for more than 10 years and been responsible for overseeing such projects as interior dressing of The Shard, major exhibitions and National Maritime Museum, Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Imperial War Museum.
Martin Hort
Account Director
Martin has worked from the shop floor up in printing, finishing and production management. Well known in the industry for his technical knowledge over the past 30 years and his ability to run major projects in the Heritage sector. Martin has been responsible for the implementation of graphics and wayfinding projects at almost all of the UK’s main Museums.
Paula Paterson
Customer Services Director
Paula has worked running accounts, projects and traffic within the display graphics business and related markets for more than 20 years and been responsible for overseeing such projects as Chanel’s display requirement throughout the UK and the implementation of major graphics projects in the likes of the V&A, Science Museum and Natural History Museum.
Tim Ardley
Project Director
Tim has 17 years’ experience in the industry, the early years were spent working in various graphics production departments learning the industry. Tim then took this knowledge and moved into project management becoming one of the most experienced in this field.
Tim spent 10 years working on the Ford account for Imagination producing events and motor shows, additionally he has managed major accounts such Berkeley homes property marketing work, Toni & Guy salon dressing, London Olympics venues and visitor centre projects such as Battle of Britain Bunker.
Andy Walter
Major Projects Director
Andy has a wealth of experience running major fit-out projects in Heritage, Visitor Centre and Retail Spaces. His project management skills are second to none. Andy will see a project through from Pre-Tender support, to design development, materials specification and on to PM through production and installation.
30 years experience in Set Works and Fit Out businesses brings a knowledge of what our clients expect from a graphics and signage company.
Mark Davies
Account Director
Mark has over 30 years’ experience in large format print production. Initially he was on the client side with Sky Sites Ltd handling all the buying and production of graphics at the BAA’s 6 Airports. He then jumped ship, to join production side of the business, undertaking roles in Account Management but latterly two Managing Director roles at Graphics Production companies. Over many years he has built up a network of customers, many becoming friends. Mark provides a wealth of experience to his clients offering them visual consultancy and production solutions for graphic and signage applications in Interiors, Property and Events.
The team is supported by a 55 strong workforce all of whom have been employed for their expertise. It is the company’s policy to employ the best in the industry in order to provide a best in class service.
